Plain-English summary: NutriĀu keeps your nutrition profile on your device. We only collect your Google account basics (name, email, profile photo) to sign you in. We don’t sell your data. You can delete it at any time from the app or by contacting us.

This Privacy Policy explains how CeylonApz (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in the NutriĀu mobile application (“App”).

1) Information We Collect

Account Info (via Google Sign-In) — name, email address, and profile photo.
Wellness & Preference Data (you provide) — e.g., cuisine preferences, allergies, dislikes, and cholesterol status you manually enter.
Device Data — basic diagnostics (crash logs) if your OS shares them; we do not collect precise location.

2) How We Use Information

Authenticate your account (Google Sign-In).
Generate on-device, personalized meal suggestions and check allergens/dislikes.
Improve app reliability and respond to support requests.

3) Where Data Is Stored

By design, NutriĀu stores your profile and menu preferences locally on your device (app storage). We do not upload your nutrition profile to our servers unless you explicitly opt in to a cloud feature (if offered in the future).

4) Sharing

We do not sell personal information.
We may share data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or integrity of the service.
When you open external links (e.g., partner restaurants/marketplaces), their own policies apply.

5) Third-Party Services

Google Sign-In (authentication). Google may process limited account info under its own terms and privacy policy.

6) Data Retention & Deletion

Your app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. You can clear profile data inside the app (e.g., “Log out” / “Clear data”) or request deletion help by emailing ceylonapz@gmail.com.

7) Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us at ceylonapz@gmail.com. If you’re in the EU/EEA, UK, or California (CCPA), you also have additional rights under applicable law.

8) Children

NutriĀu is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

10) International Transfers

If we ever process data on servers outside your country, we will apply appropriate safeguards as required by law.

11) Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above and, where required, notify you in-app.
